There are a lot of great things about being a student at ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ, but, if I had to pick a dozen of the best things, here’s what I would say:

1. At ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ, you don’t have to pay for your textbooks, which can . We don’t even pay a technology fee here.
2. You also don’t have to pay for a parking pass like some other colleges. When they say it’s one flat fee here at ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ, they mean it.
3. Patriot Park is a nice place to hang out when the weather is nice. There are swings, places to hammock, a putting green, a tennis court, and a volleyball court to enjoy. 
4. You don’t have to worry about the fear of the unknown when it comes to total costs. UC gives you the total cost upfront, so you know the exact cost. 
5. ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ has a very community-focused and welcoming environment that .
6. No Friday classes! A three-day weekend is the norm.
7. Since our class size is usually small, you will get more interaction with your professor and classmates. This also allows for more individualized instruction from your professors when needed.
8. Our  is also pretty small, so you can walk pretty much anywhere that’s located on campus within 10 minutes. 
9. For those pursuing Christianity, there are plenty of communities for you on campus. We have several ministry opportunities on campus, like Appalachian Ministries, worship band, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and Mountain Outreach.
10. We offer free counseling services. 
11. ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ is very affordable. We offer lots of financial aid opportunities. Almost every UC student receives financial aid, and we have the lowest student debt in Kentucky. 
12. It might sound cheesy, but our faculty and staff really do care about students and will do everything they can to help you succeed. 

All in all, I know that ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ isn’t the school for everybody, and that’s entirely okay. You need to attend a school that’s the best for YOU, period. But these are some of the things that really make UC stand out, at least to me. It’s been the best place for me, and I’m grateful for that.
