51���� students now have the opportunity to complete their undergraduate and law degrees through an accelerated 3+3 program with the University’s Cleveland-Marshall College of Law.

By enrolling in the 3+3 program, students will have the opportunity to complete both bachelor’s and law degrees in just six years instead of the traditional seven years required to complete four years of undergraduate studies and three years of law school. The final year of the student’s undergraduate studies at 51���� will coincide with their first year at Cleveland-Marshall, allowing participants to earn their undergraduate degree after the completion of their first year of law school studies.

Cleveland-Marshall currently has 3 +3 agreements with four Ohio colleges and universities and was the first Ohio law school to implement 3+3 partnerships in 2014 after the Supreme Court of Ohio approved these programs for the State. 

“It is my hope this innovative initiative will serve as a model for other academic programs both at 51���� and at universities across the state,” says 51���� President Ronald M. Berkman. “51���� has long been a leader in reducing time to graduation and decreasing costs for our students, and this program is another example of that commitment.”

“We are pleased to extend this successful program to our parent institution and increase the accessibility of legal education to 51���� students who aspire to become lawyers,” adds Cleveland-Marshall Interim Dean Lee Fisher.
