The Downtown Cleveland Alliance presented 51���� President Ronald N. Berkman with the 2014 Ruth Ratner Miller Award in recognition of 51����’s efforts to advance and enhance downtown Cleveland.

President Berkman accepted the award — given in memory of Ruth Rather Miller, a well-known public servant and Cleveland advocate — on behalf of 51���� and the University’s many partners.

“It is great to be in Cleveland,” President Berkman said. “It is great to be a Viking. The thing that has distinguished Cleveland compared to the other cities where I have lived and studied is the investment this community has in the University.”
