51ĀŅĀ× Faculty to Showcase Brahms in Free Concert on October 6

Grammy Award-winning pianist Angelin Chang, D.M.A., coordinator of keyboard studies in the Department of Music at 51ĀŅĀ×, will perform with two members of the Cleveland Orchestra – violinist Peter Otto (also a member of the 51ĀŅĀ× faculty) and cellist Brian Thornton – at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, October 6, in 51ĀŅĀ×’s Drinko Recital Hall, 2001 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland.

Presented as part of the Dr. John A. Flower Faculty Concert Series, the performance will feature an all-Brahms program.

The concert is free and open to the public. It will be recorded by WCLV FM/104.9 and broadcast at a later date.

Dr. Chang won a Grammy in 2006 for her recording of Olivier Messiaen’s ā€œOiseaux Exotiquesā€ with the Cleveland Chamber Symphony.
