Together, these courses build a skillset that helps professionals uncover critical digital evidence. Upon completion, students will feel empowered to track data breaches, investigate fraud, or even navigate the aftermath of cyberattacks.

鈥淭his certificate program is about readiness,鈥 said Dean of the School of IT, Dr. Machica McClain. 鈥淚t鈥檚 designed to prepare individuals to legally and effectively investigate, analyze, and preserve digital evidence for use in cybercrime, legal, and corporate investigations.鈥

Curriculum is practical, rigorous, and tailored for criminal justice, cybersecurity, and IT professionals looking to expand their skills and advance in their careers. Each course within the program pairs real-world tools with relevant scenarios. Students entering the program must hold a bachelor鈥檚 degree and have a minimum 2.5 GPA. Courses are delivered online, allowing for flexibility without sacrificing quality.

The program has been developed in coordination with the Criminal Justice Department to ensure strong interdisciplinary value.
