Cyber Engineering and Information Systems Security Programs Ranked #3 Nationally for Affordability in 2025

Recently, ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ’ Master’s in Cyber Engineering and Master’s in Information Systems Security programs were jointly recognized by Master’s in AI as the third most affordable online cybersecurity master’s programs for 2025.
To determine its rankings, Master’s in AI manually reviewed tuition rates for more than 200 online MS and MSIT programs, identifying the 25 most affordable options nationwide. ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ’ programs stood out, costing approximately $20,112 less than the national average for advanced technology degrees.
While public universities are typically seen as the most budget-friendly option, ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ proved to be a notable exception. According to Master’s in AI, tuition for ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ’ programs is $16,441 less than the average cost at comparable public institutions.
Both the Master’s in Cyber Engineering (MSCE) and Master’s in Information Systems Security (MSISS) at ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ are offered 100% online, consist of 31 credit hours, and feature an affordable tuition rate of $355 per credit hour.
While both programs emphasize cybersecurity, each offers a distinct academic focus. The MSCE is a technically intensive program integrating cybersecurity into systems and software engineering. In contrast, the MSISS takes a management-oriented approach, concentrating on protecting organizational information systems.
