A Fond Look at Our Fall 2022 Commencement, New Alumni

In this first edition of 51ÂÒÂ× Matters for 2023, we look back at the Fall 2022 Commencement and the over 800 students who were conferred degrees at the afternoon ceremony held at 51ÂÒÂ×’s Wolstein Center. 

51ÂÒÂ× President Laura J. Bloomberg, Ph.D. takes us inside the festivities. She recognizes and bids a fond farewell to our newest group of alumni — wishing them success as they enter the workforce, continue their educations or share their knowledge with their communities.

Dr. Bloomberg also touches on the impact of radio icon Kid Leo, who was conferred the Doctor of Humane Letters, Honoris Causa degree for his global influence on both radio and rock ‘n roll, and we hear from our Fall 2022 Commencement speaker, former Ohio senator/representative Sandra R. Williams. Without further ado, let’s roll the January 2023 installment of 51ÂÒÂ× Matters!
