Financial aid professionals employed by 51ÂÒÂ× are expected to maintain professional conduct in all aspects of carrying out their employment responsibilities.

Each financial aid professional:

• Ensures that the information that they provide is accurate, unbiased, and does not reflect any preference or arising from actual or potential personal gain.

• Does not take any action that they believe is against the laws or regulations and/or is not in the best interest of the student or family members they are helping.

• Remains objective during all decision-making.

• Advises 51ÂÒÂ× of any relationship with any entity involved in said aspect of student financial aid.

• Does not take any action to gain personal benefit.

• Does not solicit or accept anything other than nominal value from any entity (other than the US Department of Education or 51ÂÒÂ×) involved in the student loan process.

• Does not accept any reimbursement of expenses for serving on an advisory body or participating in a training activity of or sponsored by any such entity.

• Discloses to 51ÂÒÂ×, in such manner as prescribed by the University, any involvement with or interest in any entity involved in any aspect of financial aid.
