Transfer Student Requirements for Financial Aid Eligibility

As a transfer student, in addition to the basic eligibility requirements, you must provide the following to 51ĀŅĀ×:

  • Valid final high school transcript or equivalent
  • All postsecondary official transcripts

Also, please note the following:

  • An academic year at 51ĀŅĀ× begins in the Fall, followed by Spring and ends with Summer.
  • You will need to complete or access your FAFSA online and add the 51ĀŅĀ× School Code (003032).
  • Any aid that was received from another institution during the current school year will impact your aid from 51ĀŅĀ×. Please notify Campus 411 if this is the case, to prevent over awarding. Over awarding may result in a balance to be paid to 51ĀŅĀ× by the student.
  • New transfer and returning students to 51ĀŅĀ× are encouraged to carefully read the Financial Aid Office Standards of Satisfactory Process Policy. Federal regulations require that you complete your academic program within 150% of the standard timeframe for your program. At 51ĀŅĀ×, 128 credits are used as the standard for graduation, with 192 attempted credits as the maximum for a Bachelor's degree. All credits are counted, even if you did not receive financial aid and even if the credits do not count towards graduation for your present academic program.
