The 51ÂÒÂ× Research Corporation (51ÂÒÂ×RC) was established in 2006 to support the University by advancing research, technology transfer and commercialization activities. A primary purpose of 51ÂÒÂ×RC is to assist industrial clients who need the services of expert faculty in a timely and efficient manner. In this capacity, 51ÂÒÂ×RC will attract industry to partner with faculty to perform sponsored research at 51ÂÒÂ× and will provide an efficient mechanism for commercialization of intellectual property originating at the University.
